The 27th Congress and General Assembly of the International Union of Crystallography (IUCr 2026) will be held August 11–18, 2026, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. As the premier international forum for crystallographers and structural scientists, this triennial event is expected to draw more than 2,500 participants from around the world. The scientific program will spotlight pioneering research across disciplines—from macromolecular crystallography and materials science to novel methods and technologies.
Hosted in Calgary’s state-of-the-art BMO Centre, IUCr 2026 will feature an exciting mix of plenary lectures, symposia, poster sessions, workshops, and satellite meetings. Attendees can also look forward to rich networking opportunities, career development resources, and special programming.
